Team Secora Steps it up in Steptember

At the start of Spring 2022, Secora had over 20 team members engaged in the annual Steptember campaign, a fun and inclusive virtual event supporting people living with cerebral palsy.

Steptember challenges participants to STEP UP wherever, whenever and however they like – with the goal of reaching 10,000 steps a day from 1-30 September. That’s 300,000 steps across the month!

In addition, steppers took on a fundraising challenge to help contribute to life-changing research, treatment and services to help people with cerebral palsy to live their best life. In total over 120,000 Australians took part in Steptember, and at the end of the month over $9 Million had been raised for children and adults with cerebral palsy. Fantastic!

The Secora participants were grouped into teams of four, and enjoyed some friendly internal competition and banter around both their step tallies and fundraising. The Secora steppers included a mix of those already fit, along with those who took the opportunity to move out of their winter hibernation and start a regular exercise and movement regime.

Some of the Secora teams and individual participants totally stepped it out of the park! Well done team.
