Mark founded SECORA Australasia with John Grout in 2006 and has consulted for clients in the Mining, Defence, Utilities and Professional & Financial Services sectors. Mark is a former Partner of Ferrier Hodgson, Chartered Accountant and Restructuring professional. Mark has advised clients on system wide restructuring and re-organisations, productivity improvement, cost reduction, process efficiency and business case development in Australia, the APAC region and Europe.
John founded SECORA Australasia with Mark Taylor in 2006 and has consulted for clients in the Mining, Oil & Gas and Professional Services sectors. John comes from senior executive operations positions having spent 15 years in the automotive and defence sectors. His strengths include advising clients in Lean methodologies with particular emphasis on operational effectiveness, asset utilisation, cost reduction, work management, organisation, project management, restructuring and strategic planning.
Peter is SECORA's Defence lead and consults to clients in the Defence, Logistics and Ports sectors. He is a Navy veteran having held roles in operational, strategic and senior line management including the command of three submarines, the Submarine Task Group, Multi National Task Group Commander and head of the Operations Division for the Joint Operations Command. He is a former Director of Business Optimisation at P&O Ports, Director of P&O Trans Australia and General Manager with SKILLED.
Jonathan has had an international naval career that spans over 30 years and is a former Commodore of the Royal Australian Navy. Jonathan has extensive experience leading large teams through complexity, ensuring outstanding operational effectiveness and efficiency across multi-dimensional environments. He is focussed on improving SECORA’s services and people to ensure that we consistently deliver optimal value to our clients.
During his career Jonathan has accumulated extensive practical experience in the creation and implementation of strategy that is well supported by associated operational plans and grass roots outcomes. He is a demonstrated leader in transformational change and developing high performing individuals and teams that can cut through complexity. Jonathan is passionate about accountability and ensuring strategic aspirations become pragmatic outcomes.
Sean founded SECORA in 2001. He holds a PhD. in operations management from the University of San Diego California and a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt (both DMAIC and DFSS).
Sean’s engagements range from Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Automotive, Government, Steel to mining with companies such as Roche, Merck, Novartis, BMW, Magna, Textron, BHP and others. Sean has worked in the USA, multiple European countries, China, and Australia.
Christiane Rast holds a PhD. in chemistry from the University of Heidelberg Germany and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (DMAIC). She has held various positions within the pharmaceutical industry, including site quality and compliance head, operational excellence lead, and the head of supply and capacity planning. Her last position was as the director of manufacturing at a chemical API production site with a major pharmaceutical company.
